Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped dark chocolate
  • 1/2 cup chopped milk chocolate
  • 1 cup buttercream frosting
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. In a medium bowl, whisk together the butter, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Add the sugar and mix until combined. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until a soft dough forms. Press the dough into the prepared baking dish and bake for 15-18 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.

In a medium bowl, mix together the chopped dark and milk chocolate. Spread the buttercream over the cooled crust and sprinkle the chocolate chunks over top. Place in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to set. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate chips and cream together, stirring until smooth.
