Chocolate Cordial Cups Recipe

Ingredients
For the chocolate cups:
- 6 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 2 tablespoons of heavy cream
For the filling:
- 1/2 cup of cream cheese
- 1/4 cup of powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
For the ganache:
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a mini muffin tin with butter or non-stick cooking spray.
2. Place the chocolate chips and butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
3. Add the heavy cream to the melted chocolate and stir until smooth.
4. Spoon the chocolate mixture into each muffin cup, about 3/4 of the way full. Place in the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes.
5. While the cups are baking, make the filling. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
6. Once the chocolate cups are done baking, remove them from the oven and let them cool for 5 minutes.
7. Remove the chocolate cups from the muffin tin and place them on a cooling rack.
8. Place 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture into each chocolate cup and spread it out evenly.
9. Place the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
10. Spoon the melted chocolate over the cream cheese mixture in each cup.
11. Place the chocolate cups in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or until the filling is firm.
12. To make the ganache, place the heavy cream and chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
13. Drizzle the ganache over the chilled chocolate cups.
14. Place the chocolate cups back in the refrigerator for 10 minutes or until the ganache is set.
