Ingredients

For the Cake:

-1 cup all-purpose flour

-3/4 cup sugar

-1/4 cup cocoa powder

-1 teaspoon baking powder

-1/4 teaspoon salt

-1/3 cup vegetable oil

-1 teaspoon vanilla extract

-1/2 cup whole milk

-1/2 cup mini pretzels, crushed

-1/4 cup chocolate chips


For the Chocolate Topping:

-1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

-1 tablespoon coconut oil

-Mini marshmallows, pretzels, and sprinkles, for decorating (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the oil, vanilla extract, and milk. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk until combined.

4. Stir in the crushed pretzels and chocolate chips. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.

5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

6. Let the cake cool completely before topping with chocolate.

7. To make the chocolate topping, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil together in a saucepan over low heat. Once melted, spread the chocolate evenly over the top of the cake. Sprinkle with mini marshmallows, pretzels, and sprinkles, if desired.

8. Let the chocolate topping cool and set before serving.
