Equipment
You will need the following equipment for this recipe:
- Baking sheet
- Parchment paper
- Medium bowl
- Electric mixer
- 1/4 cup measuring cup
- Airtight container
Notes
Be sure to use softened butter for both the biscuits and the chocolate cream. If the butter is too cold, it will be difficult to mix. If the butter is too warm, the biscuits will spread too much while baking.
If you don't have semi-sweet chocolate chips, you can use any kind you prefer. Dark chocolate chips would be great for a richer flavor.
Leftover biscuits can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days.
