Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.



2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.



3. In a separate bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Then add the vanilla extract, cocoa powder, and buttermilk and mix until combined.
