Delicious Chocolate Cupcake Recipe (Makes 12 Cupcakes)

Ingredients

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a 12-cup muffin tin with cupcake liners.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add in the eggs, one at a time, and mix until fully incorporated. Add the vanilla, sour cream, and cocoa powder and mix until combined.
Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Divide the batter evenly among the 12 muffin cups, filling each cup about ⅔ full. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean.
Once the cupcakes have cooled, you can frost them with your favorite frosting. I love to top mine with a simple chocolate buttercream.
