Ingredients
For the Cake:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- Alternately beat in the dry ingredients and the buttermilk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Stir in the chocolate chips. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- To make the crumb topping, mix the flour, brown sugar and melted butter together in a small bowl until crumbly. Sprinkle the crumb topping over the cake batter.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
