Ingredients
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda

3 cups rolled oats
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup flaxseed meal
1/2 cup brewers yeast
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and white sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
4. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; stir into the creamed mixture.
5. Mix in the oats, chocolate chips, flaxseed meal and brewers yeast.
6. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
7. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown.
8. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
