Ingredients
1 ½ cups heavy cream
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
¼ cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 egg yolks
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons white sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, heat the cream, cocoa powder, and ¼ cup of sugar until just barely boiling. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
In a medium bowl, whisk together egg yolks, vanilla, and remaining sugar until smooth and creamy. Slowly add the warm cream mixture to the egg mixture, whisking constantly. Pour the mixture into 4 ramekins, and place them into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Pour hot water into the baking dish until it comes halfway up the sides of the ramekins.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the creme brulee is set. Allow to cool completely before refrigerating.
Just before serving, sprinkle the top of each creme brulee with brown sugar and white sugar. Using a kitchen torch, melt the sugar until it is golden and bubbly. Serve chilled.

Notes
